Sandra Bullock would probably back out of the Speed sequel if she could turn back time. She agreed to do it so that she could get funding for Hope Floats, her next film. The talented actress revealed how she felt to The Nation: “I’ve always been at the helm of what I do. There’s never been anything that someone said ‘I think you should do… except for Speed 2, which I wish someone would have done.”

The Hollywood star played an undercover FBI agent in the Miss United States beauty contest in Miss Congeniality. It got her another Golden Globe nomination! She went on a brief hiatus from acting after this. The actress made her comeback in 2002. She starred in Murder by Numbers, where she played a detective tracking down a pair of thrill-killers.
