Gerald Wallace

Wallace had some successful years in the league but not many success in the playoffs. He was, however, one of the best defenders in the NBA for some time, and made the All-Defensive First Team in 2010. Within five years he was out of the NBA by the age of 33. This player’s decline was rather surprising because he was known as one of the better all-around players beforehand.

Jay Williams

Jay Williams was once said to be one of the best prospects in the world. With that being said, it is no surprise that he was taken as the second pick of the 20o2 draft. Especially given his accomplishments in the NCAA. He unfortunately only played one season in NBA before a motorcycle accident cut his time short. He attempted to return to the league, but he failed to earn a full-time contract and thus has been forgotten by most fans.
