Hal Ketchum

At the age of 67, country singer Hal Ketchum passed away. While he had 17 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, including “Small Town Saturday Night” and “Hearts Are Gonna Roll,” Ketchum’s most commercially successful release was his 1991 album Past the Point of Rescue, which included the song of the same name. He retired nearly three decades later after being diagnosed with dementia.

Joe Luna

Joe Luna, better known by his stage name Joe El Cholo, died of COVID-19 complications at the age of 38. He documented his battle with the novel coronavirus on social media, sharing his struggles as the pandemic spread. Luna has spent the majority of his professional life performing at local Los Angeles comedy clubs such as the Ice House and the Improv Theatre.
