We all recognize him in blockbuster films like The Pink Panther and Father of the Bride, with his brilliant performances. What we didn’t know, though, is that Steve Martin was also a member of his Garden Grove, California high school cheerleading squad. The comedian even tried to write silly cheers for his team to perform but, to put it frankly, they weren’t too impressed with them. This guy is not only an actor and a comedian but also a filmmaker, musician, and author, what a talented man!

There is no doubt that, during her 50 plus year professional life, Sally Field has come a long way. She has not only acted in hit movies like Forrest Gump and Mrs. Doubtfire, but she has two Academy Awards to her credit too! However, what many local viewers do not know is that when she was younger, the talented actress, who also had big TV roles in shows like The Flying Nun and Gidget, actually loved performing as a cheerleader as well. She also performed in Van Nuys, California, at Birmingham High School.
