Diane Sawyer publicly revealed that she often felt overshadowed by her older sister as a teenager. And it wasn’t until she became a cheerleader for Seneca High School in Louisville , Kentucky, that Sawyer started cracking out of the loner phase. Sawyer’s first taste of fame had just been cheerleading, as she was touring the Coca – Cola Pavilion on World Fair for three years, and appeared in 1978 on television throughout the country when she joined ABC News, and where she still remains today to focus on creating specials and conducting high-profile interviews.
