Whether you like it or not, you can’t stop it from happening every year, no matter how hard you try. Put on your ugliest holiday-themed sweater, curl up on the couch with some hot cocoa and gingerbread cookies to watch one of those cheesy but oddly satisfying Christmas movies. For many, the best time of year is during this period. These wacky family Christmas cards are sure to add some cheer to your season. If you think your family is crazy, take a look at these hilarious, heartwarming, and occasionally bizarre photos and reevaluate your opinion.
For their creativity as well as the participation of the entire family, including their baby, this couple deserves to be commended. Perhaps the props for this adorable photoshoot as well. In this endearing hostage situation, the feelings that most older siblings experience when a new baby is welcomed into the family are perfectly exemplified, as is the situation in which they find themselves.
All I Want for Christmas, Is Not to Be Alone
This woman became so fed up with sending out Christmas cards featuring only herself that she went to the extreme of stuffing her hands into shoes and faking a strange merry feet greeting card.
We believe she is using this as a way to tell people not to bother her about whether or not she is in a relationship with someone. Don’t bother asking; she’ll tell you herself.
Take My Cat, Please
According to the image, this card is all about generosity of spirit, as evidenced by the fact that the dog in this card is extremely eager to rid the family of the cat.
He is so adamant about getting rid of the cat that he is even willing to give up his presents. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a Christmas miracle, buddy.
A Christmas Card for the Digital Age
Another family has decided that it is past time to send out holiday cards that depict the reality of family life in their home. They are not alone in this decision.
In recent years, it has become customary to communicate by looking at your phones rather than each other. Maybe they should make it illegal to use cell phones at the dinner table, at least for Christmas dinner.
Christmas is Coming
When it comes to popular television shows, “Game of Thrones” is one that almost everyone has heard of if they haven’t been living under a rock for the last few years.
Because their entire Christmas card is based on the show’s most iconic phrase, this family must be huge fans. We like their outfits, but we hope they don’t let their kids watch the show.
Sweater Power
Next, this woman went out and purchased matching sweaters for herself as well as her two dogs. Because they’re all so cute, it was a wise decision on their part.
To be honest, it appears that the woman is the only one who appears to be at ease in the situation. We can’t blame the clothing because every dog has their own personality.
Home Alone Tribute Card
This family is getting into the holiday spirit by paying tribute to one of the funniest and most beloved Christmas movies of all time, Home Alone, which is being shown on television.
Our favorite part is when the kid impersonates Kevin’s iconic face from the movie. Mom and dad did an excellent job as well, but don’t we all agree that their kid takes the cake?
Human Snowflakes
We can’t help but wonder if this family will continue to be as inventive year after year. These human snowflakes can be found all over the place, which is both amazing and ridiculous at the same time.
Those who have put forth so much effort to bring us this small ray of Christmas cheer deserve our gratitude and admiration for their efforts. Would your family try to do this next year?
Emily is Everything
Poor Emily, everyone else has exciting things going on in their lives, even her parents are getting excited, but she just gets to be Emily, and that is all she gets.
After all, we see you and think you’re brilliant. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. There is nothing wrong with being Emily. In fact, this makes you look like a main character.
Maury Christmas
When it came to paternity tests, talk show host Maury Povich was known for trying to conduct them in a dramatic way that had viewers on the edge of their seats.
The fact that we all know who the father is in this case is completely hilarious, but the idea of testing Joseph is even more amusing in light of the surrounding circumstances.
An Extra Magical Christmas
This extremely large family made the decision to send Christmas cards in the style of the Harry Potter series.. Considering how many characters they managed to cram into the space, we’re impressed.
There’s Harry, Hagrid, and Dumbledore, but there’s also some death eaters and even a few house elves to be found among the characters. These guys are extremely knowledgeable in their field.
A Real Dramatic Moment
We’re not sure what this woman was trying to achieve with this card. We must admit that gazing off into the distance is lovely and poignant, but it doesn’t exactly scream “Merry Christmas,” does it?
Perhaps she simply came across a picture of herself that she liked and decided to stick with it rather than changing it. We’d do it too if we were confident enough!
The Famous Tree Stand
We have no idea where this family lives or even if this is their home, but that tree is massive. It’s no surprise that they all felt compelled to pay tribute to it by performing an impromptu tree stand.
In fact, they made an attempt to resemble a Christmas tree by bending themselves in various places. They were unsuccessful. They receive a “A” for their efforts on our behalf.
Arranged by Height
This family appears to have been posing in this manner for quite some time, judging from the way they are holding themselves in this picture. Do you have any idea what you’re talking about?
Despite the fact that their heights have changed over the years, their happy smiles have remained, and we can only hope that their amazing outfits have also remained the same as well.
Ho Ho Ho in the Snow
This Canadian family is serious about their holiday greeting card. They not only moved all of their belongings outside into the snow, but they are also sitting calmly in their robes in temperatures below zero.
With the exception of that minor hiccup, everything with the card went smoothly. They did an excellent job, and their dog did not cause any damage, which was a relief for everyone.
A Magical Christmas
You have to wonder who sent out this Christmas card based on this picture. Is it Mickey or Minnie who send the card to everyone? Is it possible that they sent it out as a couple?
Everything that matters is that they appear to be having a more magical Christmas than the rest of us; it doesn’t really matter who sent them the card in the first place.
This Man and All His Wives Wish You A Merry Christmas
It’s natural for people to think about how many wives someone has when they hear that they’re a member of the Mormon faith. It’s nothing out of the ordinary these days.
This gentleman was fed up with the question and decided to include some additional wives in his yearly holiday card in order to avert any further inquiries. What a character!
Side Effects May Occur
This appears to be less of a Christmas card and more of an advertisement for some sort of medication that improves your overall quality of life, rather than a Christmas card.
The view is beautiful, but you can’t see their faces, and it looks a little too much like summer to pass for a Christmas card. We’re afraid this one won’t make the cut.
Cool Elf Alert
Quite possibly the most interesting elf we’ve ever met is this grandfather. Is that a pair of skis in the distance?
He is also sitting in his recliner, and he is wearing an inflatable safety vest, which is one of our favorite details.
Unexpected Company
“What About Bob?” is a Bill Murray film in which he plays an endearing mentally ill patient who follows his psychiatrist home after a successful treatment session. The film was well-received and a box-office success.
Do you think it’s reasonable to assume that the person who sent this out as a holiday card was trying to make their feelings about uninvited guests known to the entire community?
Please Don’t
We have no idea who the Lyles are or why they thought it would be a good idea to take a picture of themselves in front of a Christmas tree while apparently naked.
Only that you refrain from thinking about us until after you have finished getting ready for the day is all that we ask of you. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
A Very LA Christmas
His family was concerned about the impact that his relocation to Los Angeles would have on his way of life and morals, and they had good reason to be concerned.
This card was sent to them to reassure them that everything is in good condition. So, if this is what you consider to be in good condition, then…I’m not quite certain.
A Cowboy, His Little Lady, and a Reindeer?
As per the photo, this is a movie poster for a Hallmark Christmas film about a horse who, for a brief period of time, believes himself to be a reindeer.
But then again, while we’re confident that by watching the film will learn everything about the true meaning of Christmas, we’re not sure we want to learn everything about it.
The Man in the Mirror
This man, who appears to be smiling in a mirror within a bizarre Christmas landscape that includes not one, but two different sized Santas, is just plain bizarre to look at.
His creative thinking appears to have gone a little overboard while working with Microsoft Paint, at least at the time in question.
For All Your Psychic Pet Needs
This appears to be an advertisement for a psychic who can communicate with both humans and animals. The man on the couch is laser-focused on helping you in communicating with your deceased pets.
It’s difficult to come up with a better Christmas present than this. If a television show based on the pet psychic were to be produced, we would without a doubt tune in to watch it.
Out of This Galaxy
In the form of these endearing Christmas greetings, we get to hear from a galaxy far, far away.
Even so, despite the fact that the babies Ewok and Yoda are adorable, it is Princess Leia who is really stealing the show.
Photoshop Frenzy
Even if it makes perfect sense that this couple wanted to include photos of their dogs in their holiday card, did they really expect them to be this exceptionally large?
Unfortunately, based on the amount of black and the dogs’ positioning, it appears that they have died and are now watching over them. I’m not sure if that was their intention.
These Nutcrackers Went All Out
The best Christmas cards are those created by a group of people who dress up together. This nutcracker family, along with their pets, has created an incredible and unforgettable holiday greeting card.
Even so, we have to wonder if they were forced to use a Sharpie to draw the facial hair.
May the Force be Merry
The picture on the left depicts Han Solo as he appeared in a cartoon segment of the television movie ‘The Star Wars Christmas Special.’
Although it premiered in 1978, the film is believed to have received such negative reception that it was never re-aired or released again. This isn’t exactly a holiday tradition.
Santa Number 1, Please Step Forward
When it comes to what these Santa Clauses are suspected of doing and why so many people have gathered to try to identify them, there is a certain amount of mystery surrounding the situation.
Overall, this card is extremely well done, and anyone who receives it would be delighted to receive it in their mailbox.
Any Old Animal Will Do
When putting together a manager scene, do you realize that you don’t have any sheep to go with it? If you need to disguise a cat in sheep’s clothing, there are plenty of options.
Even so, despite the fact that the cat appears to be unhappy with his new position, the picture is spot on.
Gingerbread Nightmare
Despite their adorable appearance, this family appears to be living out their worst nightmare right now. Their gingerbread cookies have been transformed and are on their way to being consumed.
They all appear to be nervous and scared, but the father appears to be doing an excellent job. You’d think he was going to be eaten by the owner of that hand.
A Religious Experience
This Christmas card captures the true spirit of the season. Do you remember the special moment of your dog’s birth? The new parents are overjoyed and proud of whoever is in that bundle.
We are only left to speculate as to who the other dog is in the background of this picture. He doesn’t appear to have been in the best of moods.
A Proper Family Portrait
The official christening photo for baby Archie, taken by the royal family, is very prim and proper, as well as incredibly chic, but it doesn’t appear to be particularly warm.
Perhaps you should limit your attention to Harry, Meghan, and the baby, who appear to be having a good time themselves.
The Gift of Horror
This is a poster for a real horror film starring William Shatner that was released in 2015. We have to applaud whoever sent it out as a Christmas card because it perfectly expresses their feelings about the holiday.
After receiving that, we planned to stay away until after the New Year’s celebrations. What else could this possibly mean? Or maybe they just have a different sense of humor. Who knows?
Face-Off: The Christmas card
This is what happens when mom wants to send out a beautiful family portrait, but dad and the kids instead decide to go a little crazy on Snapchat instead of sending out the picture.
This baby with the dad’s face is going to keep us up all night worrying about him. What led them to believe that this was a reasonable take? It is, however, amusing to see.
It’s All in the Eyes
Clearly, these people have never heard of smizing. Instead of stopping at the corners of their mouths and making them look like psychopaths who ate some bad sushi, their smiles would have reached their eyes.
The baby in the middle appears to have been posing for the camera since the day she was born, which is a remarkable feat.
Beauty Tips for Beauty Queens
You must never, ever, ever wear a vest without a shirt underneath, no matter what anyone tells you. The first thing you do is put on a shirt, regardless of how fit you are, whether you are a man or a woman, or whether the vest was designed by God himself.
The only saving grace in this picture is the little beauty queens in the front. We only had a man without a neck and a woman with a bad sense of fashion without them.
Fit Family
Is it possible to combine jazzercise with a dash of disco flair? We’re having a conversation now! The amount of dedication required to make this picture a reality is incredible.
Not only did they get the right costumes, but chest-hair-dad could sell us a fitness VHS at any time. From here on out, it appears that any holiday will be a dazzling success.
Christmas in Hell
It’s safe to say that these witty fellas are surrounded by friends who share their appreciation for their sense of humor. In the event that they did not, they would be in for a lot of explaining.
The use of Christmas sweaters, wide-eyed smiles, and innocent poses elevates this film to the level of pure comedy perfection, and each of these elements contributes to its overall success.
Battle of the Bellies
Do you have a feeling of being a little bloated? It could be the beer, it could be the chili from last night, or it could be that you’re pregnant. Who knows what will happen?
This expecting couple is well aware of what is lurking inside each of their bellies. Just put the cigarettes out of sight, please. It can’t possibly be beneficial to the baby.
Artsy Christmas
This couple must have been paying attention in art class and has some very artsy friends to understand the reference. They were able to put a humorous spin on Grant Wood’s depressing-yet-famous painting American Gothic.
If it weren’t for the perfect deadpan expression on the couple’s face, the decorations on the house in the background would have been the best thing about this card. Their art teacher must be very pleased with them.
Sunkissed or Sunburned?
They’re done when you stick a fork in them. It’s no laughing matter to protect your skin from the sun… Is that the case? Take a look at this golden tan. They could just as well be breaded and tossed in a bucket of fried chicken.
They have no intention of having a snowy holiday. If you’re going to rub your friends’ faces in about how you’re going to spend your vacation sunbathing on an exotic beach somewhere, do it with a smile.
Something’s Not Working
I mean, it’s all there, isn’t it? The tree, the ornaments, the fake fireplace, and even those hideous Christmas sweaters You can’t say they didn’t give it their all. Awkwardness is ingrained in the DNA of some people. At the very least, their dog is happy.
We were curious as to what the initials on the stockings meant. We’re guessing the F stands for “frightened of cameras” and the J for “just trying my best,” okay? Now, go ahead and take a picture!
Horsing Around
The following is what we believe happened at the studio where this photograph was taken: Photographer: “Look over here… great. Now smile… perfect.” *click* “Now give me a pose… Beautiful” *click* “Now neigh like a horse.” Family: “Umm… What?” Photographer: “Did I stutter?”
The brother on the right appeared to be fully embracing his inner horse, which was a nice touch.
All Denim All the Time
Their mission is to cover the entire world in denim, and they have a plan. Their furniture came first, followed by their pets, and then the entire world! To be sure, the evil laugh is about to start!
However, despite their apparent plan to conquer the world, we must commend them on their bold choice of pun as well as the fact that they named their cat Penguin.
A Little Tied up
Take a look at those beautiful, innocent eyes and that gorgeous blonde hair. What kind of naughty kid would put those angelic faces on their list?
Our best guess is that the twinkle lights and ducktape are all precautionary measures to ensure that they do not sneak downstairs and steal some of Santa’s cookies while he is away.
Ho Ho Hold Up… What’s Happening?
We like the seasonal backdrop, the elf costume, and the fact that this guy dressed his bunny appropriately. The only thing we wish for is for the guy to not appear as if he just realized his gingerbread cookies were supposed to be out of the oven 45 minutes ago.
It’s well-known that Santa’s sleigh is drawn by reindeer, but we like to imagine that elves have smaller sleighs that are drawn by little bunnies, such as the one as shown.
Aussi Christmas
Take a look at this magnificent wombat. Boo is the name of this adorable little beast. After her mother was tragically hit by a car, she was discovered on the side of the road in Australia. Nick, a local, adopted her and has been caring for her ever since.
Her adoptive father Nick took her to see Santa for her first Christmas, and we’re sure you’d all love to have this photo of their encounter as a poster in your rooms.
No Gifts for Me, Thanks
Santa Claus is generally regarded as a positive figure. It’s a nice old man giving out gifts, you know. I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend time with him? Apparently, not all children are Santa’s fans.
It makes some sense when you think about it. After all, aren’t we taught not to sit in the lap of a stranger, no matter what gifts he has to offer?
InvisiGirl
Greetings from Stacy, this guy’s invisible girlfriend, who has arrived to meet you. Since their first encounter on an ice rink a few months ago, the two have become inseparable.
They recognize that sending joint Christmas cards is a significant step in their relationship, but they are confident that this one will last. They hope to have some invisible children in the future, but for now, they are content just being together.
Oh, John
When you drink three bottles of liquor, you’re likely to pass out, as John here discovered the hard way after consuming three bottles of liquor.
Meanwhile, his Christmas party guests will be having a good time in the living room, and he will be sleeping it off in the bathroom. Let this serve as a lesson to you, John.
Merry Furry Christmas
As we grow older, we have the option of choosing our own family members to live with us. Nobody said that every member of this family had to be a normal human being in order to be considered normal.
A bunny-wife and three cat-kids, for example, were the choices of this man. The fact is that we are not legally obligated to pass judgment, but we sort of are anyway.
No No No
When posing for a Christmas card you may wear an ugly sweater, you may dress up as Santa, you may even use bad special effects.
The only thing you are not allowed to do is to dress your wife and most likely, your underage daughters in t-shirts that say Ho.
Merry Krishnas
Was it really possible to be so entertaining while wearing bald caps and orange robes? These two, it appears, were the ones who made it possible.
We’re not sure if Hare Krishna adherents even observe the holiday. However, if they had done so, their Christmas cards would have most likely looked exactly like this one.
Is This the Real Life? Is This Just Fantasy?
Is “Bohemian Rhapsody” playing in the background for anyone else? We can’t be the only ones who feel this way. Those floating heads against the black background give us major Queen vibes.
Those pets will follow the wind in whichever direction it blows them. They are all looking in different directions, and there is no other explanation for it.
The Wiz
These gentlemen are living out their Wizard of Oz fantasies to the fullest extent that they are physically capable of doing so.
They’ve mastered the art of the floating head, and we might even see the cat take on the role of the cowardly lion in the future. Could you please provide us with a framed copy?
Not in Front of the Kids
The act of sticking out your tongue can have a variety of connotations. It can mean a variety of things, including “I’m a cute college student at a party,” “my doctor needs to see if I’m sick,” “I’m about to go bananas on this ice cream,” and so on.
It is important to note that in this context, sticking out your tongue means something different “Ewww, mom and dad, get a room!”
Bon Appetit
Isn’t it nice to sit down to a nice holiday meal with your family? You get to dress up, hang out with your friends, and eat your favorite foods (or your father’s head).
The main dish appears to have been given a touch of rarity, at least in terms of appearance. It’s possible that a few more minutes in the oven will be required.
Back From the Future
It’s all over now. We’ve survived. This family has solved the puzzle and constructed a time machine. They’ve traveled through time and space, and they’ve brought back information about the future.
It is clear to them what the future holds after assembling evidence from all over the world. It’s a grain of maize, actually. Corn is expected to be abundant in the future….
What a Big Baby!
We’re still not sure what it is that we’re looking at. The group could consist of two adults and a baby, or an adult and two babies. The verdict is still out on this particular issue.
As per the puzzled expression on the face of the little baby, she is also confused as to what is going on. Well, she will know when the time is right and when her father even showed this to her.
