Perkins, which is also professionally known as Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, is a restaurant company that was founded in the middle of 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio by Ivan Perkins and Matt Perkins. The restaurant company used to be very successful even though it faced some management transitions. A few parent organizations, own it and one of them is Marie Callenders, which filed for bankruptcy one year ago. That bankruptcy affected Perkins a lot in a negative way, forcing the restaurant company to close hundreds of branches all over the world.

Friendly’s
Friendly’s is a restaurant company that was founded by Prestley Blake and Curtis Blake, S. in the middle of 1935. Its very first and original branch is located in Springfield, Massachusetts. Because of the drastic transition of facing new management a few years ago, the restaurant’s sales severely decreased, and that forced them to file for bankruptcy. However, the company did its best to come up with a whole new menu and system to become successful again. As of now, they have a total of 167 branches, and it seems like they are doing fine. Well, they are not yet thriving the same way they used to, so they recently decided to focus on the stores that are performing well and close all the branches that are not reaching the quota to increase their sales.
