To offer to pick up a coworker’s coffee while you’re out purchasing something for yourself is a thoughtful gesture. You’d like to think that someone would be gracious enough to reciprocate your kindness.

In our opinion, this response is unreasonable, but we’re not certain. At the end of the day, if their coworker asked, you can assume they’d double-check their answer. Demands that are repeated over and over again have no effect.

If you want to avoid doing something, you should avoid it at all costs! Sending this to your boss is probably not a good idea for a number of reasons.
