Martine McCutcheon portrayed a role who her father characterized as “plumpy.” In an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2017, the actress defended her actions. “Every woman thinks there’s something wrong with them when, in fact, they’re perfect and lovely just the way they are,” she explained. “She [Natalie] was supposed to be the embodiment of that.”

These scenes are not commonly utilized to indicate that a lady looks for herself. These are usually merely an excuse to display an actress virtually naked. Psycho, whose famous shower scene has been the subject of film research for decades, is a good illustration of this. Janet Leigh, on the other hand, was dressed when she shot this scene. “Because the cutting was so fast and accompanied by that music, you’re like, ‘By God, I saw her nude,'” the actress told Ed Gross, a journalist, in 1984.
