Georgia – 31.6% Obesity Rate

Georgia did a great job handling the obesity rate in 2012. However, 28% was still at an alarming rate. After seven years, the situation became worse, and the scale increased to 31.6%. Georgia was known for its pies, cakes, and peaches. Children in this state also were experiencing weight problems. Georgia was ranked 18th for the highest obesity rate when it was about children aged 10 – 17.

Delaware – 31.8% Obesity Rate

Delaware’s health and human services division announced that 39.7% were the total residents with the standard range. 1/3 of the residents living in Delaware that were 25 to 34 years were overweight. 56% for 25 – 34 years old and 68% for 45 -64 years old. The total quantity of adults who were considered obese or overweight was 58.6%. The authority needed to find a way to manage the situation.
