Joe pushed the keeper holding Bonedigger to release him so he could decide on his own whether or not he wanted to befriend Abby. While Abby appeared delighted to be near Bonedigger based on the manner in which she sprang around, she was not. Before roaring, Bonedigger walked away from both the keeper and the dog. Despite his best efforts, it still sounded like a squeak. Regardless of the circumstances, it was time to separate the lion and dog.

Bonedigger, on the other hand, was possessive of his possessions and ran towards them. Abby simply playedfully licked his nose!

Abby and Bonedigger eventually became friends. The keepers believed it was time to find them a larger dwelling at this point. The park relocated the pair to a larger area and provided them with bedding that was adjacent to one another. Additionally, the new area had a wide platform from which visitors could observe the remainder of the zoo.

Joe was aware that lions are social creatures, so he let the other dachshunds to enter the enclosure. This was the start of a novel and unconventional sense of pride. Angel, Bullet, and Milo constituted the remaining three dogs. Bonedigger invited all of them into his pride.
