Vanessa Hudgens is an actress and singer from the United States. Hudgens rocketed to popularity as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series (2006–2008), which garnered her substantial mainstream acclaim, after making her feature film debut in Thirteen (2003). Hudgens signed a music contract with Hollywood Records after the success of the first film, and recorded two studio albums with them, V (2006) and Identified (2008). (2008). She was ranked 62nd in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in 2008 and 42nd in 2009. Hudgens is also in Maxim’s list of celebrities. She was named to People magazine’s annual “100 Most Beautiful People” lists in 2008 and 2009.
