As part of the Nazis attempted conquest of Europe, they looted and hid some of Europe’s richest art pieces. A photographer managed to capture this historical moment when Allied generals discovered the art pieces in a salt mine. The commanders are, Commander General Dwight D. Eisenhower with General Omar N. Bradley and General George S. Patton, Jr.
