Babies In The Air
At the end of the Vietnam War, hundreds of Vietnamese babies were orphaned. The American government initiated “Operation Babylift” on April 12th, 1975. The operation flew the babies from Vietnam to the USA where they were put up for adoption to citizens in USA, Australia, Canada and France.

Get ready for the chills. A native American tribe kidnapped two sisters and gave them over to a Mohave chief to become his children. Olive Ann Oatman, grew up with the tribe until word spread about a white girl living among the native tribe. An exchange was set up and a collection of blankets and horses redeemed the girl from her captors. As part of her upbringing, she received a tattoo on her chin.
