Mohamed ‘Mo’ Farah

Sir Mohamed Muktar Jama Farah used to be Britain’s pride in the sport of distance running. In every competition he participated in, he represented his most beloved country. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he won two gold medals coming from different events – 5,000m and 10,000m. He managed to bring home two medals from the same categories at the 2016 Summer Olympics. However, a few years later, he decided to shift into a new sport – marathon running.

Sanya Richards-Ross

Sanya Richards-Ross is a retired track and field athlete who competed in several competitions representing the United States of America. She won her very first Olympic medal, which happened to be a silver one, at the 2008 Summer Olympics that was held in Beijing, China. For years later, she was able to win a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics that took place in London, United Kingdom. Her career as a track and field athlete was going great until she was forced to retire due to a severe injury that she suffered from.
