Joanna Hayes

Joanna Dove Hayes is a retired professional and competitive hurdler. For those who are not familiar with what hurdlers actually do, hurdlers compete in a race by running as they jump over some obstacles. At the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in the city of Athens, she won a gold medal from the 100 meters hurdles event. Years after she retired, she started coaching other hurdlers.

DeeDee Trotter

De’Hashia Tonnek “DeeDee” Trotter used to be a well-known track and field athlete. She got her very first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics from the Women’s 4 × 400 meters relay. At the 2012 Summer Olympics that took place in London, she won a total of two medals from the Women’s 4 × 400 meters relay and the Women’s 4 × 400-meter run. After her retirement, she found herself a career as a motivational speaker. She also started working for Education First as their ambassador.
