Are you just as surprised by this as we are? Apparently those donuts that are advertised as being freshly made aren’t so fresh after all. They’re actually delivered frozen from delivery trucks each day and thawed out before being served to customers. Pretty disappointing, if you ask us.

One of the tricky things about french fries is that since they aren’t meat or dairy, it’s more difficult to draw the line as to when something is no longer fresh. French fries, in particular, can sit out for quite some time before being eaten and not taste much different than they would fresh out of the fryer. Apparently, Wendy’s employees love throwing around the phrase “They Aren’t Old Until They’re Sold” in regards to their fries. Yikes…
