The Toyota Prius has some competition since Hyundai introduced their brand-new Ioniq. With a similar body design, the only real difference is its incredibly 52 mpg overall. The 1.6-L four-cylinder engine and the fact that it’s a hybrid really make it appealing. Oh, and it comes in electric too!

Although SUVs don’t usually get the best fuel economy, this one does! This hybrid SUV is also extremely versatile and boasts a lithium-ion battery and a 1.6-L four-cylinder engine. The folding rear seats fold completely flat when you need some extra space, and the fact that it gets 43 mpg is also pretty amazing.
