Canada decided to honor Celine Dion in its own way as well. In 2013, the country gave her the Companion of the Order of Canada. Mind you, this was a very prestigious award! What a great honor.

One of the reasons she was granted this title was her philanthropy. She has actually worked with a bunch of charities in the past. She helped the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, for one. She also helped McDonald’s raise funds for World Children’s Day.
