Michael Patterson assumed that it was going to be a typical day at work. It was the duty of the state trooper to keep the roads and highways safe. He had to keep an eye and hand a ticket to people who did not follow the rules. Oftentimes, he stopped people for violating speed regulations.

Darker Than Allowed

That fateful day, a vehicle caught his eye while he was patrolling the Kingwood Township Highway. It was a nice summer day when he saw the white BMW. The driver did not drive erratically or go over the speed limit. No, the problem was that its window tint seemed to be darker than allowed.

Many people had tinted windows, but it was important for the driver to see through them without a problem. After all, it might restrict what they could see on the road. He was concerned, so he wanted to talk to the person on the wheel. Michael did this for the sake of the driver and other people on the road!
