Diana was simply good with kids. She knelt down to look them in the face while talking to them. Ingrid Seward from Majesty said, “Their smiles together have changed, and their affection and love signals are much more intense and open than ever before, suggesting the birth of their third child has somehow thrown them back into the honeymoon stage.” She also said, “The royal family used to say that everyone had to be deferential to them. But Diana said, ‘If someone [could] be nervous of you, or you’re speaking to a very young child or a sick person, get yourself on their level.’”

Just so you know, Kate and William are both affectionate with the kids in public. They have no issues carrying, holding, touching, and playing with the little angels. This photo was taken in 2017. You can see the entire family laughing together at the Trooping the Color ceremony! Aww.
