Matt Kemp and Joshua Jones
In 2013, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp went all the way for a young man. He did more than just sign a baseball for Joshua Jones, he also gave him the jersey he was wearing, his hat, and his cleats. Later, Kemp flew Jones and his family to L.A. for a game. As it turns out, Jones was battling cancer and was unable to speak.
Charlie Coyle and Young Fan
At times, even the small things, like a wave, can be so meaningful. Well, that’s exactly what happened with Minnesota Wild forward and a 5-year-old fan. The little boy was sitting in the front row and started banging on the glass, trying to get Charlie Coyle’s attention during warmups. Coyle turned and waved, and the boy’s reaction is priceless. The video of this moment went viral, and the boy later got to meet his hero face-to-face.
