Whitney started to feel like she did not belong at the high school. On top of that, she could not help but feel like she is nothing but a joke. “I had actually reached a point where I had thought about suicide for how bad this case was in,” she said when she spoke to WNEM. “I thought I wasn’t worthy at Ogemaw Heights at all.”

We are glad to hear that Whitney chose to talk to her family about it instead of keeping it all in. Her family had been devastated to learn what she had been going through. They tried to convince her that she should go to Homecoming anyway, if only to spite the people who bullied her. Still, we can see that it is not easy to do something like that.
