Maine — Marshwood High School
Rod Wotton, the former head coach at the Marshwood High School in South Berwick, led the football team to 6 consecutive state championships from 1974 until 1979. The ‘80s were nearly as good for the team. From 1983 to 1986, they had 7 state titles, four of which they won from 1983 to 1986. The current coach is Alex Rotsko, and he has been working to bring back the team’s glory days. He helped the team get 4 state titles in the span of 9 seasons! Overall, the public school football team has 21 state titles.
