You may not want to think about it, but your toothbrush attracts a lot of bacteria. The Children’s Oral Health Institute says that it is safe and encouraged to use hydrogen peroxide to disinfect your toothbrushes. Put your toothbrushes bristles-down in a cup filled with 3% hydrogen peroxide, and let it sit until you notice that the liquid has stopped bubbling. Rinse your toothbrushes thoroughly before you use them again.
