The Children’s Oral Health Institute says that it is safe and encouraged to use hydrogen peroxide to disinfect your toothbrushes. Put your toothbrushes bristles-down in a cup filled with 3% hydrogen peroxide, and let it sit until you notice that the liquid has stopped bubbling. Rinse your toothbrushes thoroughly before you use them again.

To get rid of discoloration on your curtains, soak the yellowed part in 3% hydrogen peroxide for five to ten minutes before washing them in the machine. To fix stains on tableclothes, you can soak the stained parts in hydrogen peroxide for some time, scrub off the food that is stuck on the cloth with a damp sponge or towel. Afterward, clean in the washing machine as normal.
