This legal battle came to a quick termination despite all the family conflicts. Lee had called off the lawsuit after Liza supposedly called her and invited her to dinner. The two of them settled on an agreement for the mansion. Liza would pay rent for the mansion so that Lee could remain her home. After Lee passed away, only then were the new owner able to assume complete control of the property.

Four years after the initial offer from the buyers, the transaction finally concluded in 2006. Lee passed away three years later and a month before she reached 100. The new owners of the mansion were finally able to reside in the $2.75 million estate. They had plans for a renovation of the property.
