The Wizard Of Oz
When Judy Garland improvised the iconic line “I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore”, she could not have predicted how much it would impact the project. If she didn’t come up with it, The Wizard of Oz would have been called After The Tornado and Wicked would not have been created! It was a mistake according to the screenplay, but everyone liked it so much that they had to change the film completely. This was how the magical land of Oz was birthed. The Wizard of Oz became a huge hit and we doubt it would be the classic it is otherwise!
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
Anyone familiar with the franchise can tell you how crazy the character Captain Jack Sparrow is. It’s a good thing the part was given to an actor as talented as Johnny Depp. Did you know that he adlibbed many scenes in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest? It’s true, even the “I got a jar of dirt!” song was all Depp. It’s amazing that it became so popular even though it was an on-the-spot invention.
