A Series of Unfortunate Events
The younger generation might be more familiar with the Netflix show A Series of Unfortunate Events, but we still prefer the movie version. After all, Jim Carrey was fantastic in the role of Count Olaf. The actor went off the cuff several times and he was apparently great at it! He even addressed the film crew during one take and said, “Wait! Let me do that one more time! Give me the light again. Quickly, while it’s fresh in my mind!” It was simply too good to cut out.

Inglorious Basterds
Inglourious Basterds is a tale of a band of Jews out to exact revenge on the Nazis. This is an unforgettable film for many reasons. Remember Brad Pitt’s heavy accent and horrible Italian? However, we would like to redirect your attention to Christoph Waltz’s Hans Landa. He was an excellent actor but the director portrayed the character in one specific shot. Tarantino himself did the strangling of Diane Krueger in order to wrap the scene up immediately. Diane Krueger knew what was going to happen but we wonder if she expected to actually pass out in the process.
