Anyone who is unconvinced of David Patrick Kelly’s talent needs to watch him play Luther in the crime flick The Warriors. Does the line “Warriors come out to play!” ring any bells? As catchy as it might have been, it was improvised by Kelly. We don’t need any more confirmation that the director liked it other than the fact that multiple reiterations made it to the final cut.

Despite his talent, everyone knows that he has quite a number of issues that made him difficult to work with. In Apocalypse Now, the actor reportedly refused to memorize his lines.
