Darko Milicic
Poor Darko Milicic! It was never his fault that the Detroit Pistons picked him over Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, and Carmelo Anthony. This Serbian player only had a career average of 6.0 PPG and never did better than 8.8 PPG in a season. He has become known as one of the NBA’s biggest busts. Aside from basketball, he also had a brief career in kickboxing. He has since returned to Serbia and now plays on a different field… We mean this literally! He runs a highly successful agribusiness on 125 acres of farmland. He has made a lot of profit by exporting apples and cherries to different parts of the world.
Damon Stoudamire
Damon “Mighty Mouse” Stoudamire had been a fun player to watch. Only 5’11”, he compensated for his diminutive size by playing with lots of energy and competitiveness. In the first three years, he played for Toronto and averaged 19.7 PPG. He failed to recreate this during his time with Portland, although he was still a highly valuable member of the team. The heady player decided to go into coaching after he retired. He was at Rice for a short time and then landed assistant coaching positions with Memphis, Arizona, and then the Grizzlies. In 2016, he began working as the head coach of Pacific. He has a combined record of 39-58 in three seasons.
