There Are Pickers In Other Countries Too
American Pickers have gotten so popular that people from other countries have tried to create their versions of it. You will find Australian and Canadian versions of it. The Canadian one was actually on air for four seasons, although Aussie Pickers did not get as lucky. The show airs in Israel, Spain, Romania, and the United Kingdom as well.
Prices Are Predetermined
It is true that a fair amount of the drama that happens on the show can be traced to the arguments Mike and Frank have with guests regarding pricing. However, not all of the prices are in question. The producers already talk it out before shooting even begins, which gives both the sellers and buyers some wiggle-room when dealing with the pair. Most of the time, the deal goes into Mike and Frank’s favor.
