Drew Carey is one of the preeminent comedians of the ’90s. From his work in stand up to the successful “Drew Carey Show”, Mr. Carey became a brand all of his own. With a pudgy face, friendly smile, and iconic pair of glasses Carey went on to take over the television set. He’s had huge success hosting “Whose Line Is It Anyway” and he is now host of “The Price is Right”. Drew is known for his thick rimmed glasses but the truth is that he doesn’t need to wear them anymore. Carey underwent lasik eye surgery quite awhile ago but he chooses to keep fake frames on so that his fans will continue to recognize him. The things people do for fame, eh? Drew Carey is also a part owner of the MLS Seattle Sounders franchise and he has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Quite a career for a funny man from Ohio.

Dennis Quaid is a divisive individual due to his sort-of surly demeanor and his certifiably insane brother-on-the-run, Randy Quaid. Still, no matter what your opinion of the 60 year old actor is, you have to admit he’s been a force in show business. Since making his debut in 1975, Quaid has gone on to star in almost 80 films and television programs. He’s most well known for “The Day After Tomorrow” and “Cold Creak Manor”. Dennis is one of those celebrities that became known for the glasses that they wore but eventually enough was enough. Dennis Quaid decided to correct his eyesight because he was “always tired of looking for my glasses.” Quaid admitted in an interview that if he forgot his glasses he wouldn’t even be able to read the menu at a restaurant. So the choice for Quaid was one of comfort and simplicity, not unlike many others who choose to get the corrective surgery done.
