“I Don’t Have A 10-Year-Old Son”
In 2015, Aikman had yet to marry Mooty. He was interviewed by Sports Illustrated and asked about his thoughts on safety and young football players. “I don’t have a 10-year-old son… If I did, I would not tell him he could not play football. But I don’t think I would encourage him to play football,” he answered. He had no idea that he was going to gain sons a few years after that!
