Thanks to whoever captured this moment on film! It’s nice to see the mother cow and her calf in such close quarters. While the baby appears to be small in comparison to her, it must already weigh between 60 and 100 pounds at this point. A calf gains the ability to walk, nurse, and stand an hour after it is born. As you probably already know, things are very different for us humans. This only adds to the majesty of these magnificent creatures in our eyes.
