Baby Giraffe
Giraffes do have a strange appearance. But did you know that when a baby is born, it can fall up to six feet and land on its head? There is, however, no need to be concerned. It won’t harm you! It is even said to be the most important part of the process because it allows them to take their first breath. The baby will learn to walk in an hour. We’d give anything to see a newborn giraffe take its first steps!
Baby Tapir
If you have never seen this animal before, please allow us to introduce it to you. The tapir is a rare and endangered species. Unfortunately, there are only about 3,000 of them left in the world today. It could have something to do with the fact that tapirs only have one baby in their lifetime. They have a distinctive body pattern that serves as camouflage in the rainforest. Don’t they resemble a cute cross between an elephant and a pig?
