Fabric Softener
A lot of the time, fabric softeners are full of chemicals that aren’t so good for you. Unsurprisingly, baking soda can replace this household item as well. Just add half a cup of baking soda to a rinse cycle to soften the clothes. It’s as simple as that!

Clean Fridge
We all know how refrigerators can really accumulate bad smells over time. To clean that out completely, leave a small open pot of baking soda in your fridge. Doing so will absorb any strong food odors. Occasionally, stir it so it continues to be effective. You’ll need to replace the batch with a new one every few weeks. If you want to be more thorough, wipe the shelves and walls with a damp cloth dipped in baking soda before wiping it all down with a cloth rinsed in warm water.
