Keep Flowers Fresh
There’s nothing more heartwarming than receiving a bouquet from your loved one, but it’s always upsetting when these flowers die quickly. To keep them fresh for a bit longer, add a teaspoon of baking soda to the water in the vase. This will add a bit of life to them!
Shower Curtain
While shower curtains are relatively cheap, don’t be tempted to buy a new one each time yours gets dirty. Normally, they’re made of PVC, a very harmful material, and buying a new one can give off fumes and damage your health. Especially when you breathe them in a steaming hot shower. Believe it or not, cleaning shower curtains is easier than you think. Just grab some laundry detergent, 1 cup of baking soda, some light-colored towels, and 10 drops of tea tree oil (to kill any mold). Toss the curtain and the towels in the washing machine with the mixture on a 40-60 laundry cycle and everything should come out much cleaner.
