She had been trying to make it as a recording artist before that. The star also played a big role in Who’s Tommy and a recurring character in Ray Donovan and Law and Order: SVU. Even though it has been many decades since the peak of her career, it is hard to deny her influence on the industry.
Vivien Leigh
Who would have thought that beauty can come with difficulties? Vivien Leigh was a great actress, but her good looks oven overshadowed her talent. There was a director who once described it to a tee by saying that she was a “consummate actress, hampered by beauty.” While she enjoyed a lot of fame for starring in Gone with the Wind and A Streetcar Named Desire, her theatre career had been more prolific than her onscreen one. During the last few decades of her life, she had to deal with tuberculosis. Sadly, she eventually succumbed to the respiratory disease in 1967.
