During the runtime of The Big Bang Theory, Bob Newhart made five guest appearances in the show as Professor Newhart, in which he received his first Primetime Emmy Award on September 15, 2013. In terms of comedy, Newhart is known for his deadpan delivery and a slight stammer that he incorporated early on into the persona around which he built a successful career.

Born on 16th February 1967, Lychnikoff moved to the United States during the 1990s. Ever since his subsequent move to Los Angeles, he has appeared in many TV movies and series and feature films such as HBO’s Deadwood series the movie Trade. He appears in The Big Bang Theory as Dimitri Rezinov, Howard Wollowitz’s cosmonaut companion. He is also a voice and theater actor. You might even recognize him as Yvon from Shameless.
