Neuroscience and also a Ph.D. in neuroscience. She plays the love interest of the main character in the show. She plays an essential part in Sheldon’s character development from being an aloof, and socially inept, into forming a love interest towards her.

Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz
Born on December 9, 1980, American actor, Simon Helberg plays Howard Wolowitz, an engineer and astronaut with an overbearing mother. In the show, Helberg’s character is the only one without a Ph.D., which is why also another reason why he is always left behind by the 3 of the other main cast. Simon also earned a nomination for a Golden Globe for his work at the 2016 film Florence Foster Jenkins.
