In the show, Charlotte Newhouse is known as “Joy,” Bernadette’s friend, and served as Leonard’s double alongside Howard and Bernadette. The Leonard-Joy love interest did not last for a while and eventually fell apart. Charlotte also acted in Brainstorm as Jules Hayes, and as Professor on Community. Comedy Central picked up Newhouse’s show called “Idiot Center” in 2016. Valerie Azlynn as Alicia
The character Alicia is undoubtedly one of the most memorable characters in the show. Portrayed by Valeri Azlynn, Alicia was the blonde aspiring actress who lives in the apartment right above Leonard, Penny, and Sheldon’s. Alicia also played as Penny’s competitor when Penny was trying hard to get the attention of the guys. Valerie also appeared on various films and TV shows with minor roles on Tropic Thunder and Sullivan & Son.
