Barry Williams (Greg Brady)
Barry Williams already started admiring acting when he was young. He was really set on getting into show business and he asked advice on how to fulfill his dream from his well-known neighbor, actor Peter Graves. He went as far as changing his original last name to Williams at just 11 years old. He got an acting coach and took scene study courses before he finally landed his first ever acting gig in 1965. He would later be known as the oldest Brady child Greg Brady, who also might just be the coolest of the bunch.
Williams After The Show
After The Brady Bunch ended, Williams released a few albums and went on tour with some of his Brady Bunch co-stars. Then, he decided to go into musical theater and he landed successful roles in The Sound of Music, The Music Man, Grease, and West Side Story. He also made a few guest appearances on Three’s Company, General Hospital, and That ’70s Show. His most recent gig was being a Sirius Satellite Radio DJ, spinning 70s music. In addition, he continues to do public speaking and appear in musical theater.
