Emily considered a number of methods before settling on taking the DNA samples while they were sound asleep. She reasoned that since David slept a lot, this would be her best chance. She planned to accomplish it tonight; she would first take Sophie’s DNA before David’s. She prayed that they wouldn’t wake up and discover her in the act.
