One day, he finally found it in him to ask her why she stayed in her room all the time. Natalie replied that she only felt “strange” in the other rooms in their “creepy” new house. After hearing this, Darren assumed that she was only going through a phase and left her alone. Sadly, this turned out to be the wrong thing to do. Soon enough, he started to notice something that made him even more worried.

It all unfolded during the first week of her summer vacation. Now that the temperature was reaching more than 90 degrees, Natalie started to wear shorts again. She just wanted to be comfy despite the heat. However, Darren saw that there were marks all over her legs. When he asked her about them, she simply shrugged and told him she had no idea what happened. Apparently, they were already there by the time she woke up. Her father was disturbed when he heard this. It did not sound normal at all.
