Rocky Johnson

Although his son, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, leapfrogged him in the Fame Department, Rocky Johnson was the family’s original professional wrestler. Rocky, born in Canada, began his wrestling career in 1964, winning multiple titles for the National Wrestling Alliance. The pair won the 1983 World Tag Team Championship in 1983, alongside tag team partner Tony Atlas, and became the first black champions in World Wrestling Entertainment. Johnson died of pulmonary embolism, claiming in early January 2020 that he had thg a prospectivdoctor’s visit’s visitor’s appointment.

Rip Torn

Rip Torn was a noted performer and voice actor, with a career that spanned over 60 years. He’s immortalized in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, as Patches O’houlihan, Zed in the Men in Black Franchise, and Arties on The Larry Sanders Show. Torn passed away from Alzheimer’s and its symptoms at the age of 88.
