Considering Emma Pillsbury’s role she plays on Glee, which constantly fighting with cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, it’s ironic that Jayma Mays was a cheerleader in high school herself. It looks like Mays made one heck of a cheerleader with her ringlet curls, big bright smile, and neatly pressed uniform. So it seems as if she got along quite well with the rest of the girls on her team judging, by the way, all-girl on the left’s reaction on her playful pose. She most recently starred in the NBC sitcom Trial & Error as prosecutor Carol Anne Keane, which lasted for two seasons before being canceled in 2018.

Prior to actually graduating from Virginia University and starting her productive career in journalism in 1979, Couric attended several public high schools in Arlington, Virginia, where she was a cheerleader. The journalist and TV host are now widely recognized for being Global Yahoo! News’ Global Anchor as well as 60 minutes. We would have never imagined that as a cheerleader, Katie Couric would look so ridiculously cute, but surely the widely known journalist had some moves back in the day. Nowadays, she’s served as executive producer on Netflix’s true crime miniseries Unbelievable.
