In 1999 Costner had yet another aggressive encounter. This time it was a fellow actor he angered when rumors were surrounding Travolta’s wife hooking up with Costner. These rumors surfaced during the filming of ‘For the Love of the Game’ where Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston was his co-star. However, the two never addressed the allegations.

After a long journey of bachelorhood, Costner took a path that led him to Christine Baumgartner. Another beautiful model to add to his list, this much younger fashion designer fell for the oscar-winning actor. Funny enough, she also attended California State University Fullerton, too. The two met back in 1980 while he was still married. Then in 1998, they were brought back together and eventually began dating. Costner was not prepared to fall in love again and admits that he took him a long time to say “I love you.”
