In 2003 the couple made plans to walk down the aisle and announced their engagement. They were married in September of 2004. They exchanged vows at his 165- acre Colorado estate and were joined by celebrities like Tim Allen, Mary McDonnell, and Don Johnson, and another 300 close family and friends. This time, Costner was ready to stay faithful. His friend David Giammarco even said he knew it was going to work out.

Before having their first child, the love birds decided to take a three-year honeymoon just before having their first child. Cayden was welcomed to their family in May 2007 and Costner took time off his career to focus on his family. While he kept up side projects, his dating life was certainly out of the tabloids.
