After his fairly recent separation with his wife in 1990, Costner got together with the movie star and playboy model Peggy Trentini. Peggy knew her “relationship” with Costner was not serious since her friends always warned her that he was a womanizer. Trentini said that Costner would regularly have his friends bring lots of women over so that he could find a “hot girlfriend.” Their fling ended shortly after it began, and can be read in greater detail in her 2012 memoir entitled ‘Once Upon a Star: Celebrity Kiss and Tell Stories’.

The One With “Mighty Aphrodite”
In 1955 Woody Allen created the motion picture “Mighty Aphrodite,” a romantic comedy that grabbed Costner’s attention. Specifically, the leading actress Mira Sorvino who played a prostitute named Linda Ash. Costner could tell that she was going to hit it big, and needed to join in on her rise to fame. Their affair was hot and heavy in 1993 and shortly afterward it was all over the tabloids.
