He heard a hissing, whispered whirlind. Nathen didn’t want any new abominations made from a rat’s sensitive waste. If he didn’t remove each sack slowly enough, the groans would resume. When the final barrier crumbled, he leaped down and prepared for an attack.

His garage’s fur stack has now been exposed. Since he realized it wasn’t a rat, Nathan’s eyes squinted. That was an absurdly large gesture. For a brief moment, he considered whether it was, in fact, garbage. But it shifted. Nathan’s snout may be the only thing he shows. He knew it was some kind of animal, but he had no idea what it was. He’d never seen anything quite like it.
